Ted Duran is an Actor, Martial Arts Expert and Fight Choreographer based in London, United Kingdom. His education up to age 17 was at Michael Hall Steiner School, a school specifically aimed at developing the creative mind through the extenxive study of drama, art, dancing, music and sports, gaining a wealth of knowledge in the arts. He furthered his acting training at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, where he studied Acting for Screen at MA level. During his 20's Ted was mainly in China, at first a student of Kung Fu and Chinese language, and later, as well as his acting exploits, he worked in Casting and film production for Relativity Media on various Hollywood co-productions such as "The Forbidden Kingdom" with Jackie Chan and Jet Li. Ted is an actor who loves playing diverse characters, and has a passion for action and comedy. He loves new and interesting challenges: His last major role was in the hit film "Beginning of the Great Revival" in which he plays a Russian communist spy, but he is most known for his lead role in "The Legend of Bruce Lee" in which he plays "Blair", an enemy and later close friend of Bruce Lee's. The series and Feature film have been released worldwide and seen massive commercial success with over 400 million viewers. He is an accomplished athlete, as the Winner of 2 Gold, 1 Silver and 2 Bronze medals at the 2007 and 2011 Hong Kong International Kung Fu Competitions. Hiss Martial arts training includes: Cannon fist, Shaolin Kung Fu, Boxing, Sanda, Tai Chi, Broadsword, long staff & many other weapons. He is also a qualified Stage & Film Fight Combatant, with extensive BASSC Stage combat training.
